Ira Polansky, an American Culinary Federation Certified Chef, with more than thirty years of experience in the food service industry, established Eden Caterers in 1995. He holds a Master of Science - Managerial Technology, a Bachelor of Science - Food Service Management (Magna Cum Laude) and an Associate of Occupational Science - Culinary Arts (Magna Cum Laude), from the prestigious Johnson & Wales University, in Providence, Rhode Island.
In addition to his superior education, Ira Polansky has superior credentials. He brings to Eden Caterers the experience gained from many years in the food service industry

- Owner - Eden Caterers an elegant and exclusive caterer for Temple Sholom, in Mill Basin, Brooklyn.
- Assistant Professor - Kingsborough Community College, Brooklyn, N.Y. Designed and taught a 5 course culinary curriculum within the department of Tourism and Hospitality.
- Executive Chef - El Caribe Caterers, Brooklyn, N.Y. Rated among the east coast's foremost catering facilities, specializing in Italian and International cuisine. Supervised a staff of five chefs.
- Assistant Food Service Director - ARA Campus Dining, Smithfield, R.I. Multi-unit dining facility in Bryant College, Supervised 20 full-time and 60 part-time employees in the production, presentation, and service of more than 15,000 meals weekly.
- Teaching Assistant - Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I. Prestigious fellowship awarded on a strictly competitive basis. Responsibilities included supervision of first year culinary students, as well as first and second year hotel management students in all aspects of operations.
