Temple Sholom

Eden Caterers is the Exclusive Caterer of Temple Sholom, a “conservadox” synagogue. Located in the heart of the upscale residential Mill Basin section of Brooklyn, Temple Sholom boasts a recently renovated sanctuary and many conveniences.

As the exclusive caterer of Temple Sholom, Eden Caterers is Glatt Kosher, under the strict Orthodox Supervision of Rabbi Gershon Kreuser of Belle Harbor. There is a “mashgiach t’midi” on the premises at all times, and Ira Polansky, the owner, is present at all functions to ensure the perfection of your special event.

The facility is completely handicapped accessible, with ramps available, both inside and out. Eden Caterers is also located on one level, so you will not have to worry about the inconvenience of climbing stairs. The smorgasbord room and ballroom are separate, which guarantees a smooth transition from cocktails to dinner. This feature also offers clients an intimate venue for less formal events. In addition, parking is available and is on-site.

We want you to relax and enjoy yourself! We have developed relationships with many professionals in the industry. We can recommend a variety of services to make your event memorable.

We can suggest invitation and favor specialists, photographers and videographers, florists and decorators, hair stylists and make-up artists, bands and D.J.’s, as well as limousine and transportation services. We also work with many other industry professionals who will enhance your function and make it special, such as, magicians, clowns, fire-eaters, celebrity impersonators, airbrush artists, photo booths and favors, karaoke, sports-themed games, and casinos, to name just a few.

We care about our clients, so we offer tastings, but by appointment only. We are among the few caterers who do not allow prospective customers into our premises once an event has started. Our clients deserve and receive the exclusive use of the building, and the exclusive attention of our management and staff. If we are with potential customers during a function, we are jeopardizing both of these important items, which is why we schedule tours of our premises so that they end prior to the beginning of an event.
